The system supports modern communication protocols including J2534, DoIP and CAN FD, allowing access to many newer vehicle systems. LAUNCH states that the PRO5 offers full-system coverage for more than 100 vehicle brands and includes 37 service functions.

Available functions vary depending on the vehicle’s manufacturer, model, year, installed equipment and security access. Advanced programming, key functions, TPMS programming and ADAS calibration may require additional equipment or manufacturer subscriptions.
